Thanks for stopping by. My name is Kirill Grouchnikov and I am a user interface engineer. I have been doing client side development professionally over the last decade or so, in a variety of UI toolkits and libraries that spanned Motif, MFC, VB, Ada, Delphi, Swing and SWT. Recently I joined the Android team at Google.

nice effect, but i cant see any real practical use of this effect , instead the icon can vibrate abt its position like in mac. just my view :)
I think that looks very cool and can’t wait to see what you wind up doing with it! I work on a trading application and could see that being used with differing “amplitudes” for notification of different price, execution or other trading events… great stuff!
