*) Yup, it is not supposed to have sound.
*) The exception in the background is actually to show that unless reinit is done the new field is null. This is said in the post about the screencast.
*) Although the demo shows the new functionality only in new instances all _current_ instances get the changes (new methods/fields/constructors/annotations).

We come from the J2EE world so the first Swing demo might not be so cool but to prove that you can increase your productivity even for desktop application development in Java is sexy enough :)

We will try to get couple of more Swing demos out.</description>
