Hello Werner,

Sorry for the late response, but I thought that the blog software would notify me of answers.

Interestingly I am on the EG for JSR 310.

I do everything NOT to jump out of an airplane, would be kind of expensive. :)

We should be linked up in LinkedIn just about soon. :)

Hi Mikael,

First, I find it quite fascinating, that a Swedish "Gripen" fighter pilot calls his company "MIG" ;-)

I understand, the acronym however, and beside another famous "Mik" (Kersten) who's more on the SWT side, you seem to be a quite busy and interesting player not just in the NHL (or at least in Europe) but IT scene. After all, Marc Fleury only used to jump out of planes once, not operate them, LOL

I have a very similar product for quite a few years now, but I did not bother or find time to package and market it so extensively. Basically it did all the "mimic" and providing features of MS Outlook Calendar in a similar way back in 2000.
Also based on Swing. I have a rich Java library and Beans collection from those days and would be happy to consider contribution to your projects if that's of interest?

Besides I am leading JSR-275, dealing with measures and units and also know my colleague from JSR-310 (and JodaTime) quite well.
If your product was to deal with those features (e.g. Holiday vs. Workday marker, etc.) I assume this could benefit both.
At least JSR-275 and its RI also uses BSD, that might help, too.

Cheers,
Werner Keil
